Working with industry leading equipment, and a very creative team, we strive to not only see your vision, but to elevate it!
At the helm of LUMIN8 Productions is Joseph Davis Castleberry. With over 26 years experience in the field on commercial and narrative film projects, he has acquired the skills needed for any type of work. He is an award winning Photographer, Musician and Artist, Joseph’s core skill were developed from learning so many different trades, that his critical thinking became a weapon making the worst of situations, end in success. He’s produced large scale fashion shoots, music videos, documentaries, short films, live music and commercial narratives, which cemented his filmmaking foundation. Joseph had a high focus on lighting, composition, and the psychology of emotion as he pushed forward towards his ultimate goal of Feature Films. Starting in 2005 Shooting on dv film and moving into digital in 2008, he now has a world of experience with many different mediums, understanding the advantages and disadvantages of each of these tools. His extensive knowledge of the science and technology behind digital sensors, lenses and digital lighting have open many creative doors, and even lead to him being hired as a consultant on sets for many years. Now his focus is on Writing, Directing, and DP’ing feature films.
